OUR MISSION
At Great Lakes Fund, we are dedicated to impacting the lives of individuals affected by war, including children, youth, elders, and families enduring difficult circumstances due to conflict, local socioeconomic challenges, or natural disasters. Our collaborative efforts extend to orphanages, educational institutions, hospitals, and internally displaced families.
Solidifying our dedication, the Great Lakes Fund has entered into partnership agreements with Patriotic Entrepreneurs of Ukraine, Ukraine in Armour, and Ukraine for Family Values.
At the forefront of this alliance, is the Great Lakes Fund—a vital pillar that extends international support and funding. With the Canadian fund’s remarkable involvement, we are empowered to magnify the reach of our projects and unlock essential resources.
We have been entrusted with the responsibility of representing esteemed partners beyond Ukraine, with the Great Lakes Fund at the helm of raising international aid and funding for projects spanning the domains of medicine and rehabilitation, education, culture, and nutrition. Carefully selected, each of our partners specializes in a specific area of assistance, enabling us to cultivate collective expertise and respond effectively to the diverse needs of children, adults, and families.

OPEN RING
An event for children, the “Open Ring” boxing competition, was held in collaboration with the Round1 Boxing and Kickboxing Club.
Sergey Molodov, the Director of the Great Lakes Fund in Canada, expressed his perspective on charity: “Charity is a journey of the soul. We find happiness when our children are happy.”
UNITY TRIUMPHS
The Great Lakes Fund recently co-organized a remarkable event known as the “Unity Triumphs” International Forum held at the prestigious National Taras Shevchenko Museum in Kyiv.
This forum was strategically designed to foster and enhance collaboration among key stakeholders, transcending the boundaries between those who define the landscape of humanitarian assistance and those who execute its vital implementation.
ORPHANAGE FROM KHARKIV
Our fund started working a year ago by helping an orphanage to leave the city of Kharkiv and move to a safer place. For children, this was a real shock, as the full-scale invasion came as a surprise to most Ukrainians.
Currently, the children and their teacher are rebuilding their lives and urging people to help those who need it the most, because together we are invincible.
